The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through full and open competition non-personal Contractor Field Services (CFS) for the Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit by qualified personnel. The proposed procurement consists of two (2) tasks: 28448 and 31027. Task 28448 supports the P-3C UPDATE III aircraft. Task 31027 supports the KC-130 series aircraft. The basic contract period is 1 June 1999 through 30 September 1999. The tasks will also contain two (2) twelve month option periods and one (8) eight month option period. The period of performance, inclusive of options, will total 36 man months. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for a Contractor Field Service Representative as appropriate. The place of performance is as follows: Task 31027 Stewart Air National Guard Base NY; Task 28448 NAS New Orleans LA. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
