Small Business Administration certified 8(a) participant sources sought to provide all management, technical expertise, supervision, tools, equipment, supplies, labor, and formal quality control program necessary to properly perform grounds maintenance services on Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. Services shall be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW), applicable maintenance standards established and subscribed to as commercial marketplace/industry standard practices, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local government laws/regulations. The selected Contractor will service, as needed, approximately 1650 acres of vegetated base lands to predetermined maintenance levels. Acreage serviced annually is estimated at approximately 19,000 acres. Required services are expected to include MAINTAIN GROUNDS within parameters specified for each of several SOW described land uses, SPORTS FIELD MAINTENANCE, ROADSIDE MAINTENANCE AND HERBICIDING, HERBICIDE/STERILANT APPLICATION, INSTALL IRRIGATION SYSTEMS, PLANT TREES AND SHRUBS, HYDROSEEDING, LANDSCAPE PROJECTS, AND EMERGENCY/SPECIAL EVENT SERVICES. The intended contract will have one basic performance year commencing 1 Oct 99, with four additional one year options anticipated. This is a competitive 100% set-aside for 8(a) program participation under SIC 0782 size standard $5 Million. Potential offerors may choose to participate in one-on-one discussions with the Air Force.
