SIC is 4212. Small business size standard is $18.5 million annual average gross revenue for the last three fiscal years. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside. Contract award shall be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of each proposal in terms of price, experience, and past performance. Request for Quote (RFQ) F65501-99-Q-0047 will be issued o/a 04 Mar 99. A pre-bid site visit will be held o/a 10 Mar 99. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, rolling stock, shoring materials, packing supplies, tarps, communication equipment, permits, services and supervision necessary to move/relocate medical equipment, furnishings and contents from the 3rd Medical Center, an 8 story 270,000 sq. ft facility located approximately 700 ft from the new Composite Medical Facility (CMF), a 3 story building with operational floor space exceeding 433,000 sq. ft., and contents from 5 peripheral buildings totaling an additional 50,000 sq. ft located within three miles of the new CMF. Assets to be moved/relocated include existing furniture: i.e. seating, planters, waiting room furniture, lockers, and existing medical and non-medical equipment, supplies, records, and instruments. Subsequently, performance under this contract will be required to execute a safe, orderly, timely, efficient relocation into the new facility while the old medical center is still operational. The Contractor shall perform ALL services required to move property from the present locations, transport it to the designated place(s) within the new location(s), and place it pursuant to the instructions of the Government. Services shall include padding, packing, and/or crating required for the safe transportation of the property; disassembling the property when necessary, pickup and loading of the property at its present locations, transportation of the property to the new location(s); unpacking and/or uncrating as required; placement of the property in the new location(s); reassembly as directed; removal of padding, packing and crating materials from the premises, and any other services normally included in a complete moving service.
