synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. Offers are due by 2:00 PM

RI 02841-1708 Hotel Accommodations (Target Group A-H) The U.S Navy
will conduct an International Naval Review in New York harbor during 4
July 2000. In conjunction with this event, the U.S. Navy requires
hotel rooms located in the general Manhattan Borough, New York City
area between 60th St. & 34th St. and West Side Hwy. & Lexington Ave.

exclusive from each other. **A minimum of 100 rooms must be offered.
The following are the Government's minimum requirements:  Each
room must contain one king-size or two double, queen or king size
beds, attached private bathroom with sink, toilet, bathtub/shower,
individually controlled air conditioning, television, complimentary
coffee maker and clock radio.  Each room must contain telephone
with voice mail and computer data port.  Each room must be
cleaned daily, and soiled towels and toiletry supplies replaced daily.
 Each room above the ground floor must be accessible by a
fully functioning elevator system.  Required suites to have
both separate lounging and bedroom areas.  The hotel's billing
system must allow for central billing of the room itself to a master
account and all incidental expenses (including telephone, room service,
television charges, etc.) to the personal accounts of the individual
occupants.  All room rates must be for single/double occupancy.
 Hotel must have a full service food establishment including
room service.  Hotel must have a fully functioning business
services center (with fax, computer and copier support).  Hotel
must have a health/fitness center available for the guests. 
Hotel must have a ballroom/conference room (minimum capacity of 500
people) which may be contracted separately at a later date, if
available upon request. The following are desirable but not required
attributes:  Each room must provide local telephone service at
no additional charge.  Complimentary meeting rooms (capacity
of 10-20 people) for limited time periods at no additional charge.
 Complimentary parking for a minimum of five vehicles at no
