a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation
F02601-99-T0139 is being issued as a Request for Quote. (iii)This
solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. (iv)This acquisition is set-aside
100% for small business. Standard Industry Code (SIC):3799. Small
Business Size Standard: 500 employees. (v)Quantity: 1 each. (vi)Unit is
to be used for live fire training and forced entry training. ** "or
equals" will be acceptable on all items, please send specfications of
products that meet or exceed the following specifications** Trailer
specifications:Length 35' lower level, 16' upper level. Width: 102".
Heighth: 13' Maximum (upper level folds down). Exterior panels:0.40
aluminum (white). Floor: 1/8" checkerplate. Cross-members:3" aluminum
structural, 12" centers. Interior side walls/ceilings: stainless steel
over 1200 degree(F)insulation. Side/rear doors: 40" wide, one-man
doors (rear door offset to curbside). One (1) 24" x 24" door on
roadside wall to receive removable plywood or aluminum window panels
for forced entry drills. Interior partitions, doorways and corridor per
layout drawing using appropriate heat rated materials. Interior fixed
steel stairway (w/handrail) in rearmost room to access upper room.
Fold-in aluminum access stairs to main level side and rear doors.
Removable exterior aluminum stairs (w/handrails)to upper level rear
opening (stairs must fold down for storage in unit during transport).
Removable safety railing for upper level per drawing. One (1) 24" x 30"
roof entry hatch (to lower level, front burn room) entry will receive
removeable plywood or metal panel (should have a hinged heat rated
filler cap). Upper level fold down room: front end, rear wall framed
access doors, sloped roof section with split framed opening 4' x 4' to
receive two (2) removeable plywood panels of 2' x 4' for ventilation
exercises, 4' wide partition that can be adjusted to swing left or
right, one (1) portable fire burner unit with heat deflector, heat
rated walls and roof. Three (3) louvered aluminum flip up doors for
propane pilot insertion, two on first floor and one on second floor,
door size 18" x 18", allows for relocation of one burner to three
