This scientific equipment is needed for the purification of proteins, produced in the laboratory with different isotope enrichment schemes, to analyze their structure by solid state NMR. The system must have the following characteristics: 1) wetted materials compatible with the retention of the proteins structure and functional properties (titanium, or non-metallic materials) 2) Dual pump system and dynamic mixing for high accuracy and precision formation of shallow gradients 3) A wide range of precisely delivered flow rates, reaching 20ml/minute 4) Automated injection value with three positions and automated reverse flow capability 5) Ultraviolet detector with selectable wavelength monitoring and a wide signal output range 6) flow through conductivity monitor.
