The U.S.Army CECOM Acquisition Center is issuing Broad Agency Announcement(BAA) requesting proposal in support of Non-Flammable Electrolytes for Lithium Ion Batteries. This BAA will be issued under the provision of FAR 6.102(d)(2) research proposal. A cost plus fixed fee type contract is anticipated. Pending approval of funding, a total of approximately $100,000.00 for a period of 12 months may be available for funding the effort. No award can be made without a proposal to perform the specific effort with an estimated cost and time frame work. CECOM will evaluate proposals and make contract award within a reasonable period of time. Such invitation does not assure subsequent contract award.
