National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facility
in Morgantown, WV is currently undergoing expansion and renovation.
Johnson Control's building automation system components purchased under
a Federal Supply Schedule contract have been used for the new facility
and all renovations of the existing building to this point. Until all
warranties on various portions of the system expire, the maintenance
of the system should be performed by the equipment manufacturer, in
order to ensure that all warranties are secured. The maintenance to
this system also includes support and upgrades to proprietary software,
which is supplied by the contractor. NIOSH intends to accept the
standard manufacturer's service agreement for Fiscal Year 1999. If
there are vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet the stated
requirements, including warranties, they are invited to submit
appropriate documentation, literature, brochures and references to

negotiate on a sole-source basis with Johnson Controls, Pittsburgh, PA.
Organizations may respond within 7 days after publication of this
notice. These sources will be maintained for a future competitive
