S -- COMMERICAL MEALS IN SUPPORT OF RTI POC Ms. Patricia K. Zolnowsky, Contracting Officer, 605/737-6739 MODIFICATION. This modification is issued against the CBD announcement which was previously posted in CBDNet on 22 Feb 99, and appeared the printed issue on 25 Feb 99. The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) meal requirement shall NOT be self serve all-you-can-eat buffet type meals as previously stated. Vast majority of the meals shall be provided cafeteria style (single service line) with Contractor-provided food servers. Contractor shall provide all-you-can-eat quantities for all meal items except the meat entree. Portion size of meat entree shall be stated within the solicitation. There will be field feeding requirements during this contract. The Government shall be responsible for transporting the meals to the troops during field exercises. It should be noted that the electrical system of Custer Hall is adequate to meet the requirements of the Government-furnished equipment. The type and/or quantity of additional Contractor-provided equipment to be supported by the existing electrical system is uncertain, but appears to be very limited. All parties that are seriously considering competing for this contract are STRONGLY encouraged to participate in the site visit, which is tentatively scheduled to occur during the week of 15-19 Mar 99.
