This project includes but is not limited to the following: The complete removal of Building 360, the former Commissary Annex Building, a 24,628 square foot one store steel frame (trussed) roof on structural steel columns and reinforced concrete foundations. Adjacent paving an miscellaneous stairs, ramps, curbs, slabs and walls are included in this demolition. The work includes removal of asbestos containing materials and lead-based paint. After demolition is complete a small asphalt parking area shall be placed on the site of the old building. The remainder of the site shall be grassed. Equipment left in the building shall become the property of the successful contractor. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid guarantee is required. Time for project completion is approximately 90 days. Solicitation Packages should be available on or about 15 March 1999.
