Antoinette R. Hamel, Contracting Officer Work consists of furnishing
all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in
strict accordance with those specifications, schedules & drawings
forming parts thereof, to repair/replace the 5KV feeder system located
at the National Imagery & Mapping Agency, 3200 South Second Street.
Work is to include the following: Several 5KV feeders and one
substation will be demolished. Several 480V feeders and equipment will
be demolished. New 5KV feeders will be installed. New circuit
breakers, conduit, junction boxes and other miscellaneous electrical
will be installed. Connections will be made to existing 5KV on 580V
equipment. The work shall be performed by an electrical contractor who
has several years experience in the installation of medium voltage
equipment. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with
applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance
period for this project is 210 calendar days. The contractor shall be
required to perform a certain amount of work outside normal weekday
working hours and/or on weekends to eliminate disruption of Government
services. The approximate cost of this project is between $100,000 and
$250,000. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. The
SIC is 1731, size standard $7.0M. All sources interested in acquiring
