Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized in this combined synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's intent to make a sole source award to ETI Inc. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been certified, justified and approved. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DEA-99-R-0020; award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the FAR Circular 97-07. The standard industrial classification code(SIC) is 3663 and the small business size is 750. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking to procure the following line item: Line Item 0001: ETI Telemonitor FOV (Stock No. 201.001) Quantity: 5 each. The provision at 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items" is applicable to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition.
