Division's homepage, www.crane.navy.mil. The Navy requires two each
Kodak EM Model 1012/2 High Speed Motion Analyzers and one each Kodak EM
Model 8950966 Multichannel Data Link to provide an increase in
capability of high speed motion analysis. The equipment is used to
provide high speed video coverage of ordnance testing and to measure
the velocity of projectiles. This requirement is being solicited on a
sole-source basis from Eastman Kodak Company, Motion Analysis Systems
Division, 11633 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92121 since cost
and time perspectives would cause schedule delay and invalidation of a
motion analyzer; aleviating costs incurred of a new tape driven
processor along with speciality peripherals. Kodak also produces the
replacement electronic processor. If a system is procured from another
source, it will not be compatible with the peripherals which are
in-house, making it necessary to purchase those peripherals. The
required Analyzers must be compatible with the Ektapro 1000 Imagers and
cables. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to NSWC 60 days after contract
award. It is anticipated that a fixed priced purchase order will be
awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). FAR Part 12
procedures apply. It is anticipated that a formal Request for Quote
will not be issued. The total Small Business Set-Aside has been
dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. All responsible sources may
submit an offer that will be considered. See numbered Note 26. Posted
