Smith 301-227-1640 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Combatant Craft Department will be hosting its annual Multi Agency Craft Conference (MACC) at Little Creek Amphibious Base June 22 through June 24. This year, focus is on Research and Development (R&D) past/present/future. There will be presentations, static displays, in water displays and demos, and open information exchange. Keynote speakers from government and commercial organizations will offer insight to trends and issues regarding maritime R&D. Topics will include but are not limited to craft design, propulsion, weapons, communications, transport and R&D trends. At the end of the first day, a social will be held to allow further interfacing between all the various organizations. Buffet lunches with keynote speakers will be held each day.
