This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting names of firms interested in submitting an offer for geotechnical investigation and testing services in Egypt. One indefinite delivery contract will be awarded with a base period not to exceed one year and two option periods not to exceed one year each. The amount of work in the base year will not exceed $600,000.00 and each option year will not exceed $400,000.00. Work will be issued by negotiated firm-fixed price task orders. PROJECT INFORMATION: Work will performed in Egypt and will consist of survey requirements, perform and log field explorations, perform and report field testing, collect representative soil samples for laboratory testing, and perform and report laboratory testing. Firms will be required to use the American Society for Testing Materials Geotechnical Investigation and Testing Procedures and have in-house drilling and field and laboratory testing capability. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: This solicitation will be issued on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) to prospective proposers at no charge. They may also be available to prospective subcontractors and suppliers to view or download (for information purposes only) on the Transatlantic Programs Center's Contract Web Site at www.tac,usace,arym.mil/contracts/actions.html.
