Services of an Architectural/Engineer (A/E) for design of project to remodel approximately 3000 SF of Outpatient Pharmacy Spaces at first floor of existing hospital, Bldg. 1 for the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Project will include demolition, asbestos removal, and remodeling to provide a more efficient layout. Project will provide for incorporation of VA furnished and installed pharmacy casework, and will include services of pharmacy design consultant approved by VA. Project will include modifications to existing HVAC and electric systems and provision of new local pneumatic tube system. Design is to include preparation of complete drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates per VA guidelines. Estimated construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC 8712 Architectural Services applies to this procurement. This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for an Emerging Small Business. Firms grossing over $1.25 million for past three (3) years will not be eligible per FAR subpart 19.10. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 25 mile radius of Louisville, Kentucky. This is not a request for proposal. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
