Tiffany, Contract Specialist, 301-402-3079 R -- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of AIDS Research, has a requirement for analytical and technical support for the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research, a group formed to facilitate information exchange and actively catalyze appropriate stakeholders to develop and implement new studies to address critical unanswered questions regarding optimal medical management of disease strategies. Services will involve provision of analyses, reports, meeting, planning, and preparation and analysis of proceedings and technical activities required to operate the Forum for Collaborative Research. The period of performance is for a one-year base period with four renewable one-year options. The NIH intends to contract with George Washington University Center for Health Policy Research, Washington, D.C., for these services under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. The George Washington University Center for Health Policy Research has the unique understanding of HIV research completed to date.. This is not a formal solicitation. However, firms responding to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above.
