The project consists of new work dredging of the Norfolk Harbor 50 -- Foot Anchorage by hydraulic pipeline method to a required depth of 51 feet MLLW (NOS) with an allowable overdepth of one foot. The dredged material shall be transported and placed in the designated Government-furnished Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area only. The work involves dredging approximately 413,600 cubic yards of material, including 108,900 cubic yards of allowable overdepth dredging. Magnitude of project is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Duration of the project is 90 calendar days. This is an unrestricted procurement. SIC Code 1629 applies. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
