SPECTROMETER, X-RAY DIFFRACTION, SRD SYSTEM. Diffractometer capable of measuring x-ray diffraction pattern for powder, thin films and liquid samples. To include Theta/Theta goniometer (sample must be stationary) with optical encoded goniometer with reproducibility of +/- 0.0001 degrees. Must be upgradable for single srystal x-ray diffraction measurements. To include Theta compensated computer controlled slits. To include Parallel beam optics and a monochrometer. Also include Radiation enclosure suffieient to eliminate badge requirements. SPECTROMETER, X-RAY FLUORESCENCE, XRF SYSTEM. Wavelength dispersive sequential x-ray fluorescence spectrometer. Capable of scanning measurements of elemental concentrations down to 0.1 mass % for all elements from Fluorine to Uranium. Minimum 6 position sample changer. Helium purge for loose powders and liquids. Both systems are to include computer systems with 17" monitors and applicable software. Installation and training is also to be included. The current systems will be available for trade-in and credit allowance. The completion time for delivery of the two systems will be 120 calendar days after the award. The anticipated award date will be approximately 2 weeks after closing of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled in the solicitation for those who wish to inspect the current systems which will be traded-in. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
