The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI, intends to negotiate and issue a sole-source modification to Contract N66604-96-D-A213 to increase the ceiling by 6,800 hours. The purpose of this modification is to provide contractor support until completion of a competitive award. This modification is to acquire engineering services utilizing INTERLOCKS Model Driven Analysis techniques to conduct Nuclear Criticality, Launch Sequence and ISNSA analyses tasks for AN/BSG-1 Weapon Launching System (WLS) in support of Nuclear Safety Weapon System Engineering (NSWSE) and Independent Software Nuclear Safety Analysis (ISNSA) to include approval from the Nuclear System Safety Review Group (NWSSG). This will be acquired on a sole source basis, iaw FAR 6.302-1, from Control Systems Analysis (CSA), the unique proprietor of INTERLOCKS Model Driven Analysis . No solicitation will be issued. A Firm Fixed Price, Level-Of-Effort contract is anticipated. Contract period will be from date of award through September 30, 1999.
