issued to expand the area of consideration for interested A/E firms and
to extend the closing date for this acquisition. A/E to provide
professional services for Project No. 803CM3008, Gravesite Development,
Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY. Work includes, but is not limited to
design of the 3.9 acre expansion to include site survey for topo,
trees and borings. Included will be road(s), plantings, and gravesite
layout and section markers. The A/E team should include the disciplines
necessary to do this type of work. Applicants must have an established
working office within four hundred (400) miles of Bath National
Cemetery of sufficient size and experience to accomplish the project.
Interested small business firms desiring consideration are encouraged
to submit Standard Forms 254 and 255, as well as up to ten examples of
past projects of this type, to the issuing office within thirty
calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement, or
4/7/99, whichever is later. Selection will be based on the following
criteria: 1) Experience of the firm and individuals in this type and
scale of work; 2) Location of the firm within the specified
geographical area; and 3) Previous experience with proposed
subconsultants in accomplishing this type of work. A/E must be a
registered Landscape Architect. Site visits for familiarization
purposes are by appointment only through the Director, Bath National
Cemetery, telephone (607) 776-5480, extension 1293. Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) 8711 applies to this acquisition. To be considered
a small business, the individual's or concern's average annual gross
receipts for the three preceding years may not exceed $2.5 million.
