Roberts, Contracting Officer (415) 975-4680 Subject to funding limitations, RFP for the continued operation of the Phoenix Job Corps Center, Phoenix, AZ will be available on April 16, 1999, for issue in response to written requests. The center is located at 518 South Third Street, Phoeniz, AZ 85004, and it's contract capacity is 415 students. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between the ages of 16-24. Contractors will manage and operate a Government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, and provision of health services in accordance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations and policy handbooks. A Pre-Proposal walk-through of the center will be convened on April 26, 1999 at 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a Pre-Proposal Conference to be held on center. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to not more than two persons.
