This is an indefinite quantity construction contract. Multiple awards will result and individual task orders shall be competed among the successul firms. The work shall include the removal, major repair and/or complete replacement of all types of roofing systems, including gutters and downspouts, and incidental related work. The contracts will be for one year with options to extend up to two additional years. Offerors will be evaluated on price and other non-price related criteria. The following evaluation criteria will be required: (1) Relevant Experience, (2) Project Staffing, (3) Corporate Management Support (4) Subcontracting Plan, (5) Past Performance with subfactors 1, Quality, Workmanship and Scheduling and Subfactor 2, Safety and Health Information, and (6) Price. The estimated cost range of this procurement is $7 million per year or $21 million for the base year and two one-year options. These amounts are based on the total amounts executed among all awardees. Each award will cite a minimum for the entire contract of $100,000. Pricing information will be provided on a task order to replace the roof at Building 351, Anacostia. A preproposal conference and site visit will be held on or about 31 March 1999.
