It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure professional services on a sole source basis with Knowtis Design, Inc., 610 Madison Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 to provide support services for the following: 1) trusses (3 sizes), light boxes, table tops, graphic panels, mosaic wall fabric, and miscelleous items related to items mentioned above; 2) truss structure to be used in Medical Library Association (MLA) meeting; and 3) provide design and graphics, including concept development, consulting, layout, project management, research, production, and oversight. Knowtis Design, Inc. has been providing graphic design for NLM, has an extensive library of approved NLM designs, and will provide designs consistent with previous work done. Knowtis Design, Inc. has the knowledge and expertise needed to implement this project in a short time period. This project must be completed and installed by April 1, 1999 in order to be shipped and displayed for the upcoming MLA conference in May 1999.This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible and responsive sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the NLM.
