This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to obtain base wide custodial services on Tyndall AFB FL. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract with a performance period of a base year, commencing on or about 1 Oct 99, and four option years. Source selection for this performance based service contract will be conducted using best value source selection and process techniques. This procurement has been accepted as a competitive 8(a) set aside and only those firms eligible under section 8(a) of the Small Business Act may compete for award. The concern and its affiliates cannot exceed an average annual receipt for the preceding three fiscal years of $12,000,000.00 under the SIC Code 7349. Contractors must comply with DFARS 252.204-7304, Central Contractor Registration. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform base wide custodial services to include aseptic cleaning at the Child Development Center and Youth Center.
