Interested firms may identiry their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All proposals received in response to this combined synopsis solicitation will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties must be Shipboard approved by Naval Surface Warfare center, Philadelphia, PA. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items is prepared in accor- dance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-99-Q-0803 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotations. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisi- tion Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. This require- ment is for a fixed priced contract for (3) three Membrane Dehydrator, model 6995, Mark I #44030062 and (3) three Transition Plates for instation of model 6995, P/N 7147-G502.
