65 -- BASIC AUDIOCARE PHARMACY TELEPHONE SYSTEM SOL N00168-99-Q-A0096 DUE 030599 POC Ms. Donna Smith -- 301-295-0286 The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole-source procurement to AUDIO CARE SYSTEMS for AudioCare Pharmacy Telephone System. The system must be able to interface with the pharmacy's host computer (CHCS), Analyze the validity of the refill request and process the request. The system must have the capacity to perform off-line processing and have a medication education option. Educational information provided shall comply with JCAHO requirements for medication teaching. The system must have voice mail option for patients who cannot use touch-tone. System flexibility is a must. A customized Audio Menu is required so that extra information can be given to the patient. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
