of this notice is to solicit information as to the availability of
potential sources that can provide the requirement identified
hereafter. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
is seeking information on the availability of sources to convene and
facilitate two (2) Take Reduction Team (TRT) meetings. The meetings
shall be held for the Gulf of Maine TRT and the Mid-Atlantic TRT, in
accordance with Section 118(f) of the Marine Mammal Protection Act
(MMPA). The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, travel,
per diem, travel arrangements, material, equipment, and facilities
necessary to perform the task. The meeting facility location shall be
determined by the Contractor, be centrally located, and shall
accommodate the prospective team, and the general public, in accordance
with MMPA of 1972, Section 118(f)(6)(D). Each meeting shall be
scheduled for two consecutive days, including Saturdays as necessary.
Meetings shall be held consecutively approximately September 8 -- 11,
1999. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing adequate
facility ventilation and acoustics, and applicable work supplies
appropriate for TRT meetings. The contractor shall also provide
adequate advanced notification to the general public in accordance with
MMPA, Section 118(f)(6)(D). Deliverables: (1) Meeting summary
consisting of significant discussion points and all applicable
supporting information and documentation. The estimated length of the
summary shall be 5 -- 10 pages. (2) TRT Report identifying all new
recommendations put forth and adopted by consensus, and guidance as to
how the original TRT plan might be amended, including discussions
surrounding items for which consensus could not be reached, if
applicable. Interested parties may identify their interest and
capability to respond to the requirement. Written responses are due no
later than March 18, 1999 and should be sent to Department of
Commerce, NOAA/EASC, Attn: Annette Stevenson, 200 World Trade Center,

further consideration, to render a determination of small business
set-aside based solely on the information received. The Government will
NOT pay for information received in response to this announcement nor
will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in
the development of information provided to the Government. All
responses to this inquiry shall be retained on a source list for any
possible solicitation to be issued under separate synopsis. Any
information received as a result of this notice will NOT be provided to
