A -- TECHNICAL, SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE DIVISION OF MICROBIOLOGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES (DMID) SOL NIH-NIAID-DMID-00-22 DUE 051799 POC Phillip Hastings, Contract Specialist, (301) 496-0194 The Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a new requirement for comprehensive technical, scientific, analytical and research support to facilitate the DMID research efforts necessary to accomplish DMID's program goals. This will be accomplished through multidisciplinary teams performing a variety of work projects, including: special studies and analyses; conference and workshop support; technical writing, editing, and publishing support; graphics support, software development, data management, and website work. It is anticipated that a single cost reimbursement, completion type contract will be awarded with incremental funding over a period of seven (7) years. It is anticipated that the contract is anticipated to start on November 15, 1999. RFP-NIH-NIAID-DMID-00-22 will be available electronically on or about March 17, 1999, and may be accessed through the Internet on the Contract Management Branch Homepage, locatedat http://www.niaid.nih.gov/contract/. Please note that the RFP for this acquisition has been revised to include only the Work Statement, deliverable and reporting requirements, special requirements and mandatory qualification, if any, the Technical Evaluation Criteria, and proposal preparation instructions. Following proposal submission and the initial review process, Offerors comprising the competitive range will be requested to provide additional documentation to the Contracting Officer.
