The Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor and personnel to operate the fitness centers located at the Sharpe site in Lathrop, CA and the Tracy site in Tracy, CA. This requirement shall include, but is not limited to, providing a physical fitness instructor for each fitness center. Contract period is anticipated to be from October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with four (4) option year periods. All contractors shall be required to submit with their offer the following information: Each physical fitness instructor must possess current qualifications in CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Two (2) years experience in the areas of fitness analysis, nutrition and physical fitness instruction, Working knowledge of universal weight systems, lifecycles, stairclimbers, free weights and other fitness equipment, a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or related field, and a security check consisting of local police record checks in the area of child abuse.
