Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform
dockside repairs including, but not limited to the following Base
Items: (1) Clean #1 & #2 Boiler Exhaust Piping (2) Clean and Inspect
the Galley and Dryer Ventilation Systems (3) Overhaul Main Motor Blower
Motor (4) Overhaul and Test Valves (5) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel
Tanks (6) Inspect, Overhaul, and Test Weight Handling Equipment (7)
Renew Mast Rigging (8) Preserve Buoy Deck (9) Preserve Bridge Deck,
Bridge Supports, and 03 Deck Superstructure (10) Renew Deck Covering
System (11) Provide Temporary Messing (12) Inspect and Test Relief
Valves (13) Provide Temporary Logistics (14) GFP (Government Furnished
Property) report. Vessel availability schedule will be 28 June 1999,
for 35 days. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 in the
form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast
Guard for requested drawings. Plans andspecifications will be issued on
or after 22 March 1999. All responsible sources may submit a offer
which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. This Notice
is for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) has a listed
program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
