The RFP for the cost comparison study for the most efficient and cost effective method of providing distribution services in the management and operation of the Defense Distribution Depot Columbus (DDCO) located in Columbus, OH will be available and issued on March 19, 1999 over the Internet at the following address http://www.supply.dla.mil/a76. The resultant contract awarded, if any, will be awarded on an all or none basis as a fixed price contract. The contract performance period will be a three year base period with the potential of an additional two year option period. This requirement will be issued on an unrestricted basis. SIC and Size Standard is 4225 -- $18.5M. This solicitation will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 procedures. Hard copies of the RFP will not be available. Past Performance information will be required NLT April 19, 1999. The RFP closing date is May 3, 1999. The Preproposal Conference and Site Visit will be held on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 1999 at DDCO, Columbus, OH.
