Q -- MEDICAL SERVICES SOL RFP 618-120-99-LK DUE 040799 POC Linda Kelly 612-725-2183 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55417, has a requirement to contract for OB/Maternity Medical Services to be provided to female veterans. Services are to include: pre-natal care, labor and delivery, and post-partum care. The VAMC is required to provide maternity care for female veterans within a reasonable distance of the mother's place of residence. Therefore, contractor must be able to provide medical and hospital care throughout the state of Minnesota but excluding the Twin Cities. It is preferable to award only one contract, however, it is possible that more than one contract may be awarded. It is anticipated that a five year contract will be awarded consisting of a base year and four 12-month options to renew.
