The U.S. Agency for International Development in Honduras is seeking proposals from Institutional contractors to provide technical assistance under the Productivity Enhancement Program (PROPEP). The contract awarded will be for four years with two one year options for a fifth and sixth year. The overall objective of the contract for which this RFP is being issued is to assist USAID and its partners to achieve results under the Mission's Strategic Plan and specifically under the PROPEP strategic objective agreement Results Framework. The contractor to be selected will play a key role in this process, particularly so for Intermediate Result 1, an improved policy environment (in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch) that is conducive to poverty reduction through economic growth. The contractor will provide technical assistance to several key public sector institutions. This includes GOH Economic Cabinet, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Planning Unit, along with more limited/focused support to the General Directorate of Commercial Policies (DGPC) and the General Directorate of Statistics and Census (DGEC).
