MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER IT EXPOSITION AND THE REDSTONE ARSENAL/AMCOM IT EXPOSITION On Wednesday, April 7, 1999 the Marshall Space Flight Center will be hosting their Spring Technology Expo on site from 10:00am-2:00pm. This event is promoted to all 7,000 MSFC employees whose mission is to research and develop rockets, engines, space-based laboratories, orbiting telescopes and innovative science and technology. This is one of NASA's largest facilities and it manages about 3 billion dollars year in NASA projects. Engineers and scientists make up two-thirds of the workforce. The following is an example of the requested technologies: Networking, Lab Equipment, Project Management Software, Presentation Systems, COTS, Engineering Services, Real Time Applications, Office Automation, Imaging, Internet, ATM, WAN/LANS, Workstations, Security -- Firewalls, Network Cards, VTC, and Presentation Systems. On Thursday, April 8, 1999, the Redstone Arsenal/AMCOM will be hosting their ON-SITE Winter IT Exposition. This event will take place from 9:00 a.m. -- 1:00 p.m and will be promoted to all Redstone Arsenal employees including: The Program Executive Offices -- Air and Missile Defense, Tactical Missiles and Aviation, Technical Test Center, Strategic Defense Command, USAOMMCS, LOGSA, Corps. Of Engineers, Defense Megacenter, DIA, Readiness Group, and the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. The multitude of the technical commands and the ever growing population make this facility a hotspot which is why we are expecting 250-400 high quality attendees.
