This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR CLAUSE 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is betweek $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Install government furnished carpet as well as contractor furnished carpet. There is a concrete slab under existing floor. Install contractor furnished tack strips, cushion under the carpet, transition strips and any accessories. Modify existing doors (remove, trim bottom and reinstall) as required for carpet installation. Remove shoe moldings in all areas to receive carpet and modify shoe molding at transition strips. Remove existing thresholds as required. Install new vinyl sheet flooring over existing flooring at the entrances as shown at Seymour Johnson AFB NC 27531. The performance period is one (1) base year with one (1) option year. Multiple awards will not be made as a result of this solicitation. The guaranteed minimum contract amount is $500,000.00 and the maximum contract amount payable is $5,000,000.00. The minimum amount per delivery order is $1,500.00 and the maximum amount per delivery order is $750,000.00. Solicitations will be available on or about 6 APR 99.
