The U.S. Army Communications Electronic Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Competitive, Best Value Solicitation for the full and open competition procurement of a Tube and Magnifier, P/O AN/VVS-2(V) NSN: 5855-01-027-1554 delivery To Texarkana, Tx. Drawings consists of CD-ROM. Upon issue, the solicitation will be accessible on the CECOM Acquisition Business Opportunity Page Website at http://acbob.monmouth.army.mil (help number is 1-888-414-boss). The Government will evaluate on low-price, technically acceptable basis. The anticipated contract will require access to classified source data up to & including secret in support of this work effort. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract coverning a period of five (5) years. The total estimated contract quantity is 4200 each. The Government will provide a guaranteed miminum of 200 each at time of award. The contract shall deliver 200 units, 120 days after the delivery order is placed and 200 units a month thereafter until completion. Solicitation document is forecast for issue on or about 22 March 1999. Most recent, representative unit price was $1,375.00 for a quantity of 1,050 each awarded in March, 1996.
