Potential types of services include, but are not limited to, acquisition and transfer / disposition of materials, equipment and services to specific TBD off-shore destinations through the DOE Export Technology Control Program. Successful Bidders will each receive a Task Order Subcontract with a not-to-exceed ceiling amount of $500,000. This IDIQ Subcontract is being awarded to several vendors, and WSI makes no commitment either actual or implied as to the total amount awarded to each subcontractor. Each Task Order will be individually competed to all IDIQ Subcontractors with awards based on prior performance data as well as price and schedule quoted for the Task. It is possible that every subcontractor may not have the expertise to bid on each Task; however, WSI believes the subcontractor pool will be versatile enough to afford adequate competition on all Tasks as well as adequate opportunity for each subcontractor to be awarded multiple Tasks. Schedule could be of the utmost importance for some tasks, and WSI is attempting to reduce performance schedule by placing several vendors on subcontract to bid and perform individual Tasks with the most compressed schedule. Task orders may be awarded for completion prior to June 30, 2000 with the potential for multi-year follow-on awards.
