D -- SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL SOL PAN 31160-99 DUE 031599 POC Contract Specialist, CPT Willis Brice, (256) 876-8035, Fax (256) 313-6468 The Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC) intents to renew the following licenses with MathWork, Inc for: 1) MATLAB and SIMULINK software totalling an estimated $31,237.92 for: License Numbers 63205, 74387 and 62554. 2) Subscription for MATLAB and associated compilers and toolboxes through 1 March 2000 for license Numbers (total estimated at $9,083.66): 89478, 89479, 89775, 92911, 92912, 92913, 92914, 92915, 98723, 108621 and 111574. 3) Conversion of PC License Number 89478 for MATLAB Control System Toolbox and Signal Processing Toolbox to a heterogeneous (Unix/NT) license to be added to License 63205 (all totaled estimated at $2,700.00). MathWorks, Inc., currently holds proprietary rights to the MATLAB and SIMULINK software. This acquisition is sole sourced to MathWorks due to the proprietary rights of the software. Mathworks will be required to submit a pricing proposal NLT 15 March 1999.
