Walker, 410-642-1104 NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with General Elevator Company, Linthicum Heights, Maryland for the installation of voice annunciators for six (6) elevators at the VA Baltimore Medical Center. Present equipment is manufactured by General Elevators and subsequent equipment should be OEM products to ensure compatibility. No solicitation document currently exists. Prospective contractors should submit written price and technical data within twenty (20) days of this notice. Interested companies must clearly and convincingly document their capability to properly install system in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) requirements, specifications and criteria. If no affirmative written responses (NO FAX) are received by the due date, an award will be made to General Elevators. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. Oral communications are NOT acceptable. Only responses from responsible sources will be considered.
