This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR par 13.5 and 12.6. This acquisition is Unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3829 and the business size is 500 employees. This requirement is for 30 each with 5 year extended warranty and data, Base Standard Vacuum Gage for AFMETCAL in accordance with Purchase Description MLEE-JRS-99-01 dated 1 Feb 99, with options for FY2000, 0-30 each and FY2001, 0-30 each. The vacuum reference standard gage will be a direct reading type covering a range of 1 x 10-3 torr to 10 torr. The gage will consist of a sensor head connected by cable to direct pressure readout of the digital type. The standard gage will replace the existing Base Standard vacuum gages used by the Air Force Type IIA, IIB, and IIC Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMEL). The standard sensor head shall be a capacitance manometer type. Item must be commercially available and proposal sample unit is required to be submitted with quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered. FOB Destination. Delivery to be 60 days after receipt of notice of award. It is anticipated that Request For Quotation F33660-99-Q7001 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis.
