The Defense Supply Service-Washington on the behalf of the Per Diem, Travel and Transportation Allowance Committee, is seeking sources who can provide capability statements that can provide services in accordance with Section 403B to Title 37, U.S. Code, that would provide the information allowing the Secretary of Defense Office to pay a cost-of-living allowance to Service members in high cost areas in the continental United States. Contractor support is required to obtain detailed local market cost data for numerous locations in CONUS, at a specified salary level, family size, housing status, and for a specified time frame. Major cost categories to be provided will be taxes, transportation, goods and services, housing, and miscellaneous expenses, i.e., the full ranges of components of a specified salary. The methodology used in collecting and compiling data must be must be compatible with data used in previous years.
