necessary to perform Dockside repairs including, but not limited to the
following Base items: 1) Clean, Inspect and Disinfect Potable Water

Remove, Dispose of Diesel Fuel (1000 gallons), 5) Clean and Inspect
Tanks, 6) Level II Inspection of Hydraulic Chain Stoppers, 7) Level II
Inspection of Mechanical Chain Stoppers, 8) Level II Inspection of
Cross Deck Winches, 9) Level II Inspection of Chain Inhaul Device, 10)
Level II Inspection and Test of Buoy Crane, 11) Modify Bridge
Footrailing, 12) Preserve Anchor Windlass Assembly, 13) Renew Berthing
Racks, 14) Provide Temporary Logistics, 15) GFP Report. Optional items
include: 1) Welding Repairs, 2) Additional Temporary Logistics.
Vessel's homeport is Newport, RI. Vessel availability schedule will be
12 July 1999, for 28 days. Place of performance is restricted to the
vessel's homeport. Vessel is a 175-foot Coastal Buoy Tender. All
reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street,
Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. A non-refundable charge required in the form
of a certified check or money order made payable to the U. S. Coast
Guard in the amount of $100.00 is required for requested drawings. All
businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the
subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 23 March 1999. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
