PRA-GRTE 10(9), MOOSE OVERLAY, Grand Teton National Park, Teton County,
Wyoming. This project consists of 5.00 kilometers of cold recycling and
asphalt paving (base portion), plus 3 Options which may be awarded
should funding become available. Each Option consists of 0.5 kilometer
of additional cold recycling and asphalt paving. All Options must be
offered at unit prices no higher than those for the base portion of the
solicitation. Project includes construction survey & staking;
construction schedules; contractor sampling & testing; temporary
traffic control; permanent traffic control devices; 9,600 metric ton
minor asphalt concrete (base) and 960 metric ton (each Option); 55,750
sq meter continuous cold recycled asphalt base course and 5,575 sq
meter (each Option); 1,480 metric ton minor crushed aggregate (base)
and 150 metric ton (each Option); 500 hrs flagger (base) and 60 hrs
flagger (each Option); 40,000 meter permanent pavement markings (base)
and 3,790 meter (each Option); 12,600 sq meter turf establishment
(base) and 1,200 sq meter (each Option); and other smaller items of
work. This project is located approximately 14 kilometers northeast of
Jackson, Wyoming. Work shall be completed by August 1999. Estimated
price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Presolicitation Notices
are being provided to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently
with the publication of this synopsis. The following applies only to

The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital
financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and
payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending
Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
