RESURFACE HANGAR DECKS AT U.S.C.G. ACTIVITIES SAN DIEGO. Furnish all
labor, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all other
necessary items required to accomplish the following: Resurface the two
Hangar Decks at Activities San Diego. The floor surface area of Hangars
#1 and #2 are approximately 15,000 and 17,000 square feet respectively.
Lead paint was identified in the colored traffic striping on the
existing hangar decks. The Air Station has requirements for 24-hour
helicopter operations and maintenance that will require close
coordination with the Aviation Engineer Officer. The work includes:
removal of the existing floor coating systems; preparation of the
concrete decks to receive the new coating system, including but not
limited to crack filling; application of a new coating system. The
system shall consist of a waterborne epoxy base coat and a low-VOC
primer and topcoat of a chemical and abrasion resistant urethane with
skid resistant grit. Estimated range is $25,000 to $100,000.
Performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The
applicable SIC is 1752. Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million.

to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is

Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
