Drug Administration has a need for long-term housing, care and welfare
of experimental animals, housed in Government facilities. Care
includes feeding, weighing, sorting, breeding, and collecting
biological samples in accordance with established operating procedures,
animal protocols, and specific instructions; and transporting animals
from airport to housing space; and maintaining appropriate records for
the various tasks. Welfare includes selection of caging and
environmental enrichment techniques appropriate for the species and
size of animals; pest control, and monitoring and maintaining controls
for temperature, relative humidity, and air flow; insuring the
