Note 1 is deleted. The synopsis is revised to read as follows: On-site maintenance service of Honeywell Nalcomis DPS-6 system in Misawa, Japan. This is a requirement for commercial items and will be processed IAW FAR Part 12. This is an unrestricted procurement. Service to include all labor, tools, equipment, parts, materials and supplies required to maintain the Honeywell Nalcomis DPS-6 equipment. Period of performance shall be 1 October 1999 through 30 September 2000 with four option periods (1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001, 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002, 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003 and 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004). FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, is to be part of the resulting contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
