The modification will result in a six month extension in the period of performance. Via the instant contract, CDM provides technical services in support of the USAID Environment Health Project (EHP). EHP strengthens the capacity of developing country governmental and non-governmental organizations to develop, implement, and monitor effective strategies to prevent environmentally-related illness. A follow-on procurement to the current EHP contract is currently underway, and award is anticipated in May 1999. This six month extension provides the necessary continuity.
