PRA-NOCA 10(3), HARLEQUIN BRIDGE, North Cascades National Park, Chelan
County, Washington. This project consists of grading, drainage, base,
paving, and bridge. Bridge includes steel trusses, beams with glulam
timber deck, and timber bridge rails. Project includes: construction
survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction
schedules; removal of detour road; removal of permanent bridge; removal
of portable bridge; permanent traffic control devices, office trailer;
300 meter silt fence; 100 cubic meter watering for dust control; 1,300
sq meter clearing & grubbing; 20 cubic meter excavation & embankment;
600 sq meter earthwork geotextiles; 120 cubic meter structure
excavation; 900 cubic meter riprap; 720 sq meter road conditioning; 310
ton minor cold asphalt mix; 200 meter driven piles; 45 cubic meter
structural concrete; 2,400 kg reinforcing steel; 100,000 kg steel
structures; 60 cubic meter timber structures; 102 meter timber bridge
railing; 1,000 cubic meter topsoil; 1,050 sq meter turf establishment;
300 flagger hrs; and other smaller items of work. This project is
located approximately 90 kilometers north of Chelan, Washington. Work
shall be completed by October 2001. Estimated price range is between
$1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Presolicitation Notices are being provided

Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing
and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's
Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment
bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program
(STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum
