synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. DAKF61-99-Q-0033 is issued as a
Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is small business set-aside, the
SIC code is 3531, and the small business size standard is 750
employees. 1 EA @ $____________.____SCRAPER/ EARTHMOVER -- To be used
by Public Works to maintain and repair tank training trails. Government
is interested in obtaining performance and features similar to that
offered by the Terex TS 14D with standard equipment. However, award
will be made to that quote which represents the best overall value to
the Government. Multiple quotes (different prices for different models)
are encouraged. (i.e. similar characteristics as capacity, min payload
48,000 lbs, two turbo charged engines for loading/unloading by 1
operator, power shift transmission with pan guard, cab with heater and
air condition air dryer for brakes, push block, all wheel drive,
battery disconnect switch, backup warning device, 4 headlights, power
steering, minimum 2 section cutting edge, radiator guard on tractor,
air suspension seat, all gauges, individual brake control, no spin
differential, heavy duty air cleaners, brake drum guards, and rear
power train alerts). Must meet all OSHA safety requirements, and
includes 2 sets each of operator book, maintenance manual, and parts
book. To include delivery, setup, 4-5 hours of training for current and
future operators, and a 100 hour maintenance check. and to include.
